i’ve removed incredibar software manually by deleting from two folders, but the incredibar still exists. will spyhunter remove whatever is still running on my system making this incredibar toolbar come up while using chrome? if i have no answer i will try it out in 30 minutes. thanks

  • Grayson

Folks, Incredibar set my default search engine to incredibar automatically. If you want to get rid of it and the little popping up websites like ebay and a shopping page.. do this in Google Chrome or Firefox or IE:

Click the ‘settings’ and go to ‘extensions’. After that, disable and remove that your exentions and the incredibar one if you see it. Then restart your browser. Restart your PC if that does not work.

  • Vall

I never asked for this toolbar. How does it install. It happened after installing a music mixing program I got from download.com / cnet. Is that still a safe place of have they bundled this claro toolbar software with installation software now? Totally confused and mad I had to pay to remove this after I did not want it. But on the other hand, glad my PC does not have that annoying claro toolbar. I am writing to the claro people a strongly worded letter about how bad their product is.

  • alisa

Where does incredibar come from. It showed up after installing a new program on my PC downloaded from tucows.com. How is that associated with this? I still do not get it. Anywho, thank you for having SpyHunter remove it through the helpdesk. your techs where most helpful to remove incredibar.

There was an option NOT to install it but it was too late, i had to use spyhunter to remove it. Just DO NOT choose those utility downloaders on any download site. They do nothing but install adware and malware on your computer!!!!!

    Jeanne S,

In your situation you must log in as an administrator and then proceed with installing SpyHunter. You can do this by logging out of your current user in Windows and then signing on selecting the administrator account for your system. If you are not sure about this, you may need to open up the ‘Manage User Accounts’… you can do this by going to Start menu > Control Panel > User Accounts > click User Accounts and then click “Manage User Accounts” or “Change User Account type”. From there, you may be prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type in your set admin password if you have one setup. Then select your user type to be “Administrator” and click Change Account Type. Follow the instructions if you need to restart or not and then make sure you are logged into the proper account and then download, install and run SpyHunter through our Download link.

Hope this helps! Please let us know your outcome.

RUnning as an admin actually works. I have tried it after my 2 attempts with spyhunter. I was going to give up but that was the charm to get it installed and to remove mystart.

  • Stan N.

Ran as admin as logged into the first account on my PC and that did the trick. Spyhunter found this garbage toolbar and removed it for me. Kuddos to you for providing the product.

  • Jimmy Duup

Is Mystart a legit company and why are they installing this crap with other software and then you can’t remove or uninstall it? Can someone report them to the BBB?

Finally happy camper here. after taking my pc to the repair store and paying out $75 an hour charge they could not remove this. they wanted to reinstall windows. I told them give me a refund. They did. Found this post via google and tried spyhunter. At first i was doubtful but it found mystart incredibar so i paid for spyhunter. After that, all else is history. mystart is removed because of spyhunter. Must say this is the first time I heard of this program but it is GOOD. I will be sharing with my friends and co-workers with malware on their PC. Good product and support!

  • Rolland Geivers

please to God I hope this removed incredibar. giving a try for spyhunter download.

THANKS. I just wanted this crap mystart off of my computer. You all where to the point with no BS. Many thanks for honesty and straight up spyhunter program.

  • Luis

    I really freakin HATE incredibar!!!!

  • Bill Boston

There is a newer version of mystart incredibar and it is even worse… it wont let you uninstall anything from the control panel. I had to boot into safe mode for a spyhunter scan to work. Took about 10 minutes spyhunter removed it. I had mystart a month ago also and spyhunter took care of it but I had to re-install all my software due to a crashed hard drive. I should have loaded spyhunter the second time to protect my from this mystart junk.

  • Kyle Hampton

finally uninstalled it using spyhunter download. though i had to buy and register it. well worth it.

  • Jose Pareles

Instead of Mystart, it should be called MyHeadache! OMG, this was so annoying. So happy to have found a way to remove it all. My PC kept redirecting to the mystart site and I could not get to google. Many thanks for providing a solution to remove MyStart. MYGoodness!

  • Jimmy P.

I was able to remove those files you listed but the redirects still happen in my Firefox. What do I do?
